Volunteering
Green Estate has a proven history of providing high quality volunteering experiences and opportunities to a wide range of people. We regard our volunteer team as a significant part of how we work, and critical to the way in which we achieve our aims. Most of our volunteers are based at Sheffield Manor Lodge and between them are involved in all areas of work, including in the offices, the farm shop, our Discovery Centre, the farm, in the gardens and within the parks and green spaces in the wider surrounding area.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer our volunteers the support and experiences which allow them to grow as individuals, as well as contribute to the success and growth of the whole company and to Sheffield Manor Lodge as an increasingly popular visitor destination. Many volunteers have been able to use their experiences with us to gain employment.
All potential volunteers are welcome to join us, but we are particularly keen to attract people who are able to take on a considerable challenge, have existing skills and experiences to offer and who have the determination to make things happen.
