Green Waste & Compost
Green Estate offers a Dispersed Composting Network with 7 sites around Sheffield. Individual and commercial customers can drop off green waste collected from parks, gardens, open spaces, street trees, civic amenity sites and the council's green bags.
Processing this waste throughout our network produces a high quality, peat free compost. This locally produced product is excellent for landscaping gardens and allotments. And it is lightweight and easy to use. Providing a low cost but high value product in this way reduces the economic and environmental cost of processing and diverts green waste away from landfill.
