We anounced in July  the changes imposed by the Environment Agency effecting our Green Waste services.. These changes would have resulted in our ability to take green waste at the following sites in Sheffield from the end of September 2011.

 

Woodside Lane, Kettlebridge Road, Manor Cottages, Manor Lane & Southey Green Road

 

We are now well into the process of setting up a new improved composting facility at the old Norton Aerodrome site in south Sheffield and waiting for the outcome of planning permission.

 

However, I am pleased to say that  the Environment Agency have now postponed the introduction of the new regulations until 30 April 2012.

 

This means that customers  will now be able to continue to use our current services on the above sites without having to find an interim alternative.
