Fretson Green Estate
Fretson Green is a small ‘Pocket Park’ built from scratch in the Bellways new development.
Designed to cater for young families and those seeking a little colour and space Fretson Green has the feeling of a village green with areas of well mown grass for playing and relaxing, flower beds to provide blooms throughout the summer and a playground for our younger visitors.
The playground offers facilities to keep children busy with a large sandpit, swings, a slide, climbing towers and wall all set in a gated, dog-free space with benches for parents to sit and relax.
The planting offers interest all year round with a good selection of shrubs, perennials, bulbs and trees as well as a more informal area were kids can play in the planting. Colour starts in early spring with bulbs and extends through the summer with our perennials. In winter our hedges and shrubs give structure and our trees are an ever present welcome sight.
The park is always clean and well maintained and, being surrounded by hedges and railings, feels safe and welcoming at all times. The encircling roads are small and there is little to disturb your visit no matter how long you intend to stay.
