By Bus:
No 56 from Sheffield Interchange runs every 12 mins (30 mins on Sunday). Alight at the Windsor Pub , Southend Rd, Wybourn. Walk up Southend Rd, opposite the pub to Manor Lane. Turn Left at top of street onto Manor Lane. Manor Lodge is a few minutes walk on the left and the entrance to the Discovery Centre, which is the main gateway to the site, is on the left immediately past the ruins. Manor Oaks is c½ mile further down the hill.
By Tram:
Alight at Spring Lane Stop . Walk up to City Road and cross over the road. Turn right up City Road. York House is the building just after the Premier Store. For Manor Lodge go left along the side of the Premier Convenience store and enter Manor Field Park. Follow the path and note the sign post 'Manor Lodge'. Keep on this path all the way down and exit the park onto Manor Park Crescent. Turn Left and walk up the hill to Manor Lane. The Discovery Centre is right opposite to the right . Manor Oaks is c½ mile further down the hill.
By Car from Sheffield City Centre
From Park Square roundabout take A6135 signed City Road Crematorium. Go straight up City Road to traffic lights with St Aidan’s church on left. Turn left here up Manor Lane and pass the ruins. The car park to the Discovery Centre is directly left after the ruins. Manor Oaks is c½ mile further down the hill.
By Car from the M1
From the M1 take Junction 33 towards Sheffield on the A630(A57) Sheffield Parkway. Towards the city centre take the slip road exit signed ‘ATTERCLIFFE & MANOR PARK’. At end of sliproad note brown sign opposite marked 'Manor Lodge'. Turn left up Manor Lane and after c 400 yds at the brow of the hill on the sharp bend turn right remaining on Manor Lane. Carry on up the hill. Manor Oaks is c200yd on left. The Discovery Centre is c½ mile further up the hill next to Pub, turn right into car park at brow of hill.
