Demolished Sites Treatments
Green Estates Contracts Team are CHAS approved and can provide landscaping services to help deliver a delightful solution to urban estates all over the country.
Like many councils involved in housing renewal, Sheffield's derelict land suffered from issues around fly-tipping, vandalism and anti-social behaviour which soon turned demolished sites into an eye-sore and nuisance to the surrounding communities.

From Demolition to Delighful - How do the flowers get there?
Debris is cleared from the land and the soil is treated to increase fertility. Recycled green waste compost is applied to some of the land in preparation for sowing meadow seeds, sunflowers and other crops. The Meadows are then left to grow, burst in to colour, with successions of flowers throughout the summer months.
An Idea Recipe for Community Engagement
Green Estate involve local school children and residents with the project where ever possible. School children help sow the seeds and learn about the growing process.
